Joe Biden readies to cripple economy if elected. No fracking, climate change embrace, higher taxes, transition away from fossil fuel, stacking the Supreme Court on his agenda.
Joe Biden has made it abundantly clear that he would cripple this country in order to accommodate his far left supporters. His plan to ban fracking would destroy the economies of Pennsylvania, Ohio, Texas, and North Dakota. It would also lead to higher fuel prices and greater dependence on foreign oil. For what? A feel good plan to address climate change.
His plan to transition to alternative energies is profoundly unrealistic. This transition would increase energy prices in every household and business. In effect, yet another tax. While eliminating subsidies for fossil fuel (that I support) he would leave the heavy subsidies in place for solar, ethanol, and wind (I don't support). Wind and solar energy has been entertained since the beginning of life and as an energy source just can't survive without subsidies. Why? It just isn't efficient. On cloudy and/or shorter days you don't get much from solar. And naturally, without wind, you get no wind power. You have to use fossil fuels to supplement this need. Look at the rolling blackouts in California to show the futility of a 100% plan of alternative energy.
Let capitalism decide the timing and implementation of alternative energy. If fossil fuels become more scarce its price will increase and the unsubsidized price of alternative energies will become more favorable. It's a economic and capitalistic transition to alternative energy. To do it now, undermining the economic principles of capitalism, is to cripple our economy solely on ideological means. The idea that climate change is an existential threat is simply unproven.
Joe's idea that he wouldn't be raising taxes on people earning less than $400,000 a year is simply nonsensical. If you remove the Trump tax cuts, that is in effect a tax increase. Add in the hidden tax of increased subsidies for the Green New Deal and you have a substantial tax increase. We tried this same plan under Obama/Biden and lost $500 million to Solyndra. He had his chance to prove it would work and failed. Private enterprise, not government, is the right sector to advance technologies. Too many companies are in it right now to capitalize on the subsidies and mandates by government - the very things that drive up prices and pass along to consumers, most of which, do not benefit in the least. For example, if your neighbor installs a windmill or solar panel, you will be paying towards the subsidy via taxes.
The idea that he would stack the court so the Democrats could control the judicial branch is unnerving. Why circumvent the historical process and load it unless you intended to use it to your advantage. This alone should serve as a warning to all voters of what is to be expected if he and the Democrats were to win this election. They are opening advocating for big government, more control, destroying capitalism, killing the 2nd amendment, and advocating for abortion rights. There doesn't seem to be a single thing they stand for that supports the constitutional rights or best interests of Americans.
This would not have been a close race without the dishonest media, FBI, CIA, and the Presidential Debate Commission. Without Trump, we will return to rebuilding the swamp, betraying the American people, outsourcing our jobs, and living without law and order. It's an easy choice for those that will search out the truth.
