Liberties Must Be Fought And Voted For

All citizens have an obligation to defend freedom at any cost.  In the absence of defense, freedoms will pass... Thomas Jefferson wrote in The Declaration of Independence after compiling the sentiments common among colonists: We hold these Truths to be self-evident, that all Men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creators with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.—That to secure these Rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just Powers from the Consent of the governed, that whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these Ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its Foundation on such Principles, and organizing its Powers in such Form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient Causes;

Democrats Aren't For Our Liberties and Freedoms

Our personal freedoms granted to us by the U.S. Constitution is under serious attack from the power grabbing Democrats.  Only our votes can end their agenda. What happened to our liberties and freedoms, as so strongly defended in the words of U.S. Declaration of Independence? We have allowed our government to slowly and methodically scale down individual rights promised by the very charter that founded our country. The demise of our once great country is resting fully upon these very liberties. The aura of defeat and hopelessness now fill American air, whereas freedom, the American dream, and hope used to reign. Oppression kills innovation, creativity, ambition, hope, and the spirit of the truly free. All of us have heard the great words spelled out in the Declaration of Independence, but when was the last time we pondered its great significance.
