Today's remarks from Joe Biden's inauguration speech.
Not quite like the one President Trump received in 2016 when the Obama-Biden administration spied on him, concocted a fake Russian Collusion story, and unmasked different members of his team. I wouldn't call that peaceful or well intentioned. The next four years the Democrats relentlessly hounded Trump on every conjured up thing they could. We they call for unity now, it is sickening. Where in the last 4 1/2 years, did you rest from your senseless attacks on the President and his followers? Where were you on the BLM/Antifa crime spree? The censorship of Big Tech? The disinformation of the media?
"I’ve just taken a sacred oath each of those patriots have taken. The oath first sworn by George Washington. But the American story depends not in any one of us, not on some of us, but on all of us."
Yet, his policies aren't exactly about the capitalist country we live in, but one of overreaching regulations, big government, and government mandates. And where have you been Mr. Biden on including the interests of the majority of the country? Crickets from you on their interests. He is interested in far left policies, not the middle ground.
"Few people in our nation’s history have been more challenged or found a time more challenging or difficult than the time we’re in now. Once in a century virus that silently stalks the country, has taken as many lives in one year as America lost in all of World War II. Millions of jobs have been lost. Hundreds of thousands of businesses closed. A cry for racial justice, some 400 years in the making, moves us. The dream of justice for all will be deferred no longer. A cry for survival comes from planet itself. A cry that can’t be any more desperate or any more clear, and now arise a political extremism, white supremacy, domestic terrorism that we must confront and we will defeat."
The co-vid crisis is mostly self-manufactured. Your risk of dying from co-vid alone is statistically very small. Most of the numbers are exaggerated by calling every death co-vid, even though other underlying health conditions existed. The shutdowns were politically advantageous, nothing more. The businesses and families destroyed was worse than doing nothing to avoid co-vid. Co-vid deaths and war losses are dissimilar, particularly when the first is exaggerated.
The idea that racial justice is somehow like it was in the past is simply untrue.
"My whole soul was in it today on this January day, my whole soul is in this. Bringing America together, uniting our people, uniting our nation, and I ask every American to join me in this cause."
Now, suddenly when he's elected, Joe Biden wants to unify. Before then, nothing.
"Uniting to fight the foes we face: anger, resentment and hatred, extremism, lawlessness, violence, disease, joblessness, and hopelessness. With unity we can do great things, important things. We can right wrongs. We can put people to work in good jobs. We can teach our children in safe schools. We can overcome the deadly virus. We can reward work and rebuild the middle class and make healthcare secure for all. We can deliver racial justice..."
And where the hell was Joe Biden condemning violence before now? Good jobs? Biden's policies are going to kill more jobs than created. Joe Biden's policies will crush the middle class.
"...without unity there is no peace, only bitterness and fury. No progress, only exhausting outrage. No nation, only a state of chaos."
Very true, but it takes a person who is uncompromised, believes in the constitution, and unwavering in his stance on unity. Mr. Biden's has changed as he felt it politically benefitted himself.
"...we must reject the culture in which facts themselves are manipulated and even manufactured."
You mean manufactured like the Russian Collusion Hoax that you helped orchestrate. Like the mainstream media that propped you up by manipulating and manufacturing lies about President Trump. Like your bid to unmask political opponents? Everything the Democrats desire is attained by manipulation such as censorship.
"And I pledge this to you, I will be a president for all Americans, all Americans. And I promise you, I will fight as hard for those who did not support me, as for those who did."
This would have been the time to say that censorship by Big Tech must end immediately and your administration will be taking action. Nothing. Something could have been said about the main stream media being held to account for their disinformation campaign. Something about the election anomalies, ending the Trump witch-hunt, and maybe, he could take some blame himself for saying nothing about any of it until now.
"What are the common objects we as Americans love that define us as Americans? I think we know: opportunity security, liberty, dignity, respect, honor and yes, the truth. Recent weeks and months, I’ve taught us a painful lesson. There is truth, and there are lies. Lies toll for power and for profit, and each of us has a duty and a responsibility as citizens, as Americans, and especially as leaders, leaders who have pledged to honor our Constitution and protect our nation to defend the truth and defeat the lies."
President Biden is supportive of expanding abortion rights. Is that liberty, dignity, and respect for the unborn. He has taught us a painful lesson that cheating by any means is okay, that being a hypocrite is a way of life for politicians, and words are just words, meaningless. Lies toll for power and for profit -- that's rich given the Biden profit channels and Hunter Biden's scheme that embroils Joe.
"And I promise you this, as the Bible says, “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.” We will get through this together, together."
This is perturbing to Christians. You quote the bible while promoting abortion? Insanity.
"...we’ll lead not merely by the example of our power, but by the power of our example."
The example set by Joe Biden, Democrats, and RINOs is beneath the decency of the common man. Let's set the bar a little higher.
"We face an attack on our democracy and untruth. A raging virus, growing inequity, the sting of systemic racism, a climate in crisis, America’s role in the world. ..And this is certain, I promise you, we will be judged you and I, by how we resolve these cascading crises of our era. We will rise to the occasion is the question. Will we master this rare and difficult hour? When we meet our obligations and pass along a new and better world to our children, I believe we must. I’m sure you do as well. I believe we will."
He's already off on the wrong path. The virus is waning and doesn't pose an existential crisis. The lockdowns are creating a bigger crisis. The idea that systemic racism exists is only furthering dissension, and the climate, well, many scientists disagree that there is any problem. The only world this administration is going to pass along are unfounded ideals, huge debts, expanded government control, censorship, and playing politics to pad politicians pockets and increase their power. The data will show this shortly.
"My fellow Americans, I close today where I began, with the sacred oath. Before God and all of you, I give you my word. I will always level with you. I will defend the Constitution. I’ll defend our democracy. I’ll defend America and will give all, all of you keep everything I do in your service. Thinking not of power, but of possibilities. Not of personal interest, but the public good and together we shall write an American story of hope, not fear, of unity not division, of light not darkness. A story of decency and dignity, love and healing, greatness and goodness."
First of all, his word is worthless. He says what he says to get voted in, nothing more. He dodged more questions in his campaign then he took. He hasn't leveled about his full involvement with the Ukraine kickbacks, part in the spying on the Trump campaign, Benghazi, Fast and Furious, unmasking of private citizens, etc. He has continually plagiarized, made up stories, and even distorted his true experience and education. This would have been a good speech from a person who believed in what was said about unity and God. The fact is that Joe believes in abortion, systemic racism, racial justice, gun control, open borders, and climate change baloney. He and the control by all sectors by the Democrat Party will drive this country to its knees in the fastest way they can bring in. Don't believe it, just give it six months and see what it's costing you to run your own household, watch the burgeoning debt of the country, and watch unemployment start to trend poorly...but then again, they can fix the numbers to convince the sheep that things are going better. Hell, a lot of people thought President Obama did some good.
