Today marks yet another day a good dad lost custody to a bad mom. The judge threw out the guardian ad litem report and made it clear -- the mom always win. This case included false accusations of incest (via mothers encouragement), a documented sexual charge (while in mothers care, that was secretly hidden until problems arose), lies regarding employment (mom), etc but it didn't matter. The gender bias is real and easy to prove, yet it is daily digested without second thought. This is a constitutional violation but where are the legislators? They ignore every letter, every email, or personal accountability. What good are more laws if we won't protect them? It's all meaningless without protection!
Note: This was in Wisconsin, but the same goes on here every day. Vote yourself another raise legislators and ignore your obligations to the people. They only count when its election time -- and then only in words and until the election results are in. Isn't there one fighter for rights among you?

The Bill of Rights clearly protects the personal freedoms and rights of Americans. The rights not specifically mentioned are derived through the Ninth Amendment which says "The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people." This country was founded on the "underlying principles" of individual rights and limited government. Now we have legislation from the bench, ongoing constitutional right violations (fathers denied equal rights because of gender), and an exploding growth in government size.
ReplyDeleteThe two party system is suddenly at risk of fragmenting and becoming vulnerable to the strengths of other parties, like the Tea Party and Independents. It's about time! Until they pull more strength, American's are given just two real choices in the polls. Wouldn't it be nice to have one or two more options? After all this time, it appears that day is in the making. Perhaps some good will rise out of all the bad that has taken place.
Within the last two weeks a Carlton County father committed suicide because of his custody situation. His soon to be ex took their children to Minneapolis, demanded a $1,000 a month in child support, and said he would never see his kids again. Sure, he would have had rights to see his kids four (4) days a month, but when you are used to seeing them everyday, that is devastating.
ReplyDeleteThis is exactly the kind of woman the current case law protects, rather than treating the two parents as equal. The treatment a father realizes throughout divorce is horrendous and oppressing. Nothing they can do is right, while everything the mother does is immune from judgment. This is clearly not the Constitution at work as much as it is "special interests" and "government interests." The government interests include federal dollars for child support collections. The special interests include: lawyers, woman rights groups, woman coalition, child support offices (employees), child support magistrates, state employees, and others that benefit from the tremendous workload that is "government manufactured" by distorting the constitution for personal benefit.
Fathers in contested custody cases do not win! There's a reason the state does not record and share statistical information regarding custody outcomes. They would support the argument that the current rulings are discriminatory and unconstitutional.
